Battle of the Light

We've been challenged!

The “Battle of the Light” Charity Basketball Event will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:06 PM at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross, GA. Admission is free with the donation of perishable food items, which will support The City of Hope Food Pantry.

The event encourages participation and attendance from Troop 1906, mentees, and the broader OPL family and friends, with halftime featuring a special H.O.R.S.E. game or a three-point contest showcasing mentees from both chapters. In addition to being a fun, uplifting celebration of growth and confidence, the event will also include on-site voter registration. Practices are scheduled at the Georgia Tech Campus Rec Center on October 11, October 25, and November 1. Reach out to Brother JB Harmon for more information and practice times.
